To sharpen your knives, simply place the knife sharpener on a flat work surface. Insert the knife blade into the carbon slot at a 90 degree angle and pull back with a few easy strokes. Follow this by then placing the knife in the ceramic slot and repeat the same process to nicely finish the edge of the knife.
